Audio Guide at Cité Immersive Viking

A More Immersive Experience, Now Available in French and English

A New Way to Experience the Viking World in Rouen

At Cité Immersive Viking in Rouen, we are constantly enhancing the visitor experience to make it even more immersive and accessible. Visitors can now enjoy an audio guide throughout the exhibition, bringing Viking stories, historical accounts and immersive soundscapes to life.

This new feature deepens the experience from start to finish. Voices, music and sound effects enrich every room, creating an even more captivating journey through Viking history.

Available in French and English

A major new addition: the audio guide is now available in both French and English.

Previously, English-speaking visitors had to rely on subtitles to follow the exhibition’s audiovisual content. Thanks to the new English audio guide, they can now enjoy the experience just as naturally as French-speaking visitors.

Historical explanations, character narratives and immersive storytelling are all delivered directly in English, allowing visitors to fully engage with the exhibition without constantly reading subtitles.

It’s a significant step forward in making the experience more accessible for international visitors discovering Viking history in Normandy.

Immersive Sound That Brings History to Life

The audio guide is much more than a simple translation. It accompanies visitors throughout the exhibition, enhancing the atmosphere of every room.

From legendary Viking expeditions and epic conquests to archaeological discoveries and historical reconstructions, every scene is enriched by a carefully designed sound environment that draws visitors deeper into the story.

The goal is simple: to make every visitor feel fully immersed in the Viking world.

An Experience Designed for Everyone

Whether you’re visiting with family, friends, as a couple or while travelling through Normandy, the new audio guide allows everyone to enjoy the exhibition in the language they’re most comfortable with.
